Myself and the wife went here one night as a one off treat. It was every bit as expensive as you'd imagine but worth it. We had a cocktail each, a starter each, a main course each, one desert, one coffee, a bottle each of red wine, sweet wine, and still water. They threw in a few other bits and pieces (bread, a little amusee bouchee thingy, and petit fours), and the whole lot came to 460 Euro including a 15% tip.
Now if you're just a normal joe punter like us who likes to eat out a bit you might think that's insane, and in a way it is, however in my opinion it's actually better value than a lot of restaurants in Dublin. I've lost count of the places I've been to that will charge 80 to 100 per head for a similar spread, but just don't deliver. They're normally "cool" or "trendy" places with more than a dash of pretentiousness, but ultimately the food isn't up to it.
So my advice is save up and go here, you definitely get what you pay for, and it's an experience you'll never forget.
