DInner for 2 at Halo in June was one of the best meals I ever had in Ireland. Because it is a hotel restaurant they are struggling to attract customers, so when we arrived we were incrediably well looked after by Paul, the Maitre'D. While we were ordering our food we were treated to complimentary Champagne and canapes. The food was beautifully cooked, and the flavours were amazing. Each course was perfect. My husband was so impressed that he even ordered dessert - something that he never does, but he was sure that it would be as good as the starter and main course - and it didn't disappoint. 3 courses was a set price of €51 each. I've been to Saba, Sixty6 etc, which are all nice and fun, but Halo is in a different league. After dinner, the bar at the Morrison is a very cool place to go for drinks.
