I usually pop out to Howth most weekends and always stop in the Abbey Tavern for a bite. I highly recommend the steak or the chicken wrap, actually everything I've tried on the menu. It's a great place for watching sport as well as there's a sports corner with a large tv. Well worth a visit to this proper old style pub.
The staff/service and food are all top notch. It can get a bit busy with the bus loads of Americans coming over in the summer but the bar is absolutely buzzing.If there's one place to chill after an afternoon in Howth, it's here.
