We went for the early bird menu on Saturday night. This is exceptional value, and at these prices I suppose you have to adjust your expectations. We had the dips starter, and the chix salad. Both were fine. For mains, we had the fish pan and the pork belly. Again, both were fine. We had a 24e new zealand pinot noir, which was excellent for that price. The wine was really the highlight of the meal. My wife had an americano after, which was also excellent.
I liked the atmosphere, and I really wanted to love this restaurant, but based on the early bird menu, I just can't really rave about it.
The couple next to us did rave about the beef and guinness pie, so maybe next time I'll try something not on the the early bird menu.
