I was there recently for a meal with friends and the food was amazing although we waited nearly 40 minutes for main courses after nice starters.
Bar Italia
Its simple enough food and although it has Italian staff I don't think it is the best Italian food in Dublin by any stretch of the imagination.

Tasty, what you would expect from a high class restaurant, well presented but a little bit pricey. Good for a special occasion. Good steak though

Good pub grub, really nice steak too and the chocolate pudding is the best in town, no questions asked. So gooey!
Elephant & Castle
Heard alot of good things about this place and while it has good service and a nice atmosphere, i wish the food lived up to the same standard. Saying that, the chicken wings however were amazing

Amazing surroundings and some tasty reasonable priced food. A great place to relax for a few hours
