This really is one of the best restaurants in Dublin and I have to say that the recession doesn't seem to be affecting this place at all. Some of the dishes are slightly pricey but the quality is superb. Try getting a couple of starters to try the different flavors

I have never eaten in the restaurant upstairs but if the quality of the ingredients they have downstairs are anything to go by then the food should be amazing!
Brasserie Sixty 6
Have been to this place on 3 different tmes to grab brunch and have to say the food is really good. They do a really good half roast chicken but on 2 of the occasions it did take over 30 mins to get served. Very good all round though
The Waterloo
One of the few proper pubs left in Dublin. It keeps that sort of old feel while being modern and clean at the same time, great place for a pint!
Cafe Mao (Chatham Row)
Doesn't get any better than the malaysian chicken in here. I have seen so many people trying to copy it but it just never seems to work anywhere else, delish!
Bijou Restaurant
Had dinner here a couple of weeks ago and the food was super tasty. It was a friends birthday and if it wasn't for that I would never have known about the place but it is worth the trip out of town!

Love the style of the whole place. I always feel so glam when I go and eat here. Food is good enough but for me it is all about the location and the wine!

This is quite simply THE place to go for brunch in Dublin. The food is amazing and I have actually only ever eaten there at brunch time. Relaxed and casual with the rancheros a must!

Love going in here and sitting at the bar and having a snack! Really good food and the sort of place that you can go on your own and just sip a glass of wine
Ely winebar
A it's an old classic. Find this one much better and more itimate than the other bigger new venues. You get great simple food and tons of wine by the glass so you can sample a few wines, right up my street!
JoBurger & Bar
Really is the best burger in town. They have great DJ in there most nights and the menus come in the cutest comic book format ever! I could literally eat one of these every night of the week. Some tasty relishes too.
